Filos ("the App") is developed by Nikolaos Kontis. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights.
Filos accesses photos in your device's photo library only after you grant permission. The App reads EXIF metadata (camera settings, date, location) embedded in your photos to detect Fujifilm film simulation recipes.
All recipe and photo metadata is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. No photo files are uploaded to external servers.
If you choose to share recipes with the Filos community, recipe data (settings and optional sample images) is stored in Apple's CloudKit public database. Shared recipes are associated with your iCloud account. You can delete shared recipes at any time from within the App.
When you connect a Fujifilm camera via USB-C, Filos communicates directly with the camera using the PTP protocol. No camera data is sent to external servers.
Filos may read GPS coordinates already embedded in your photo EXIF data. The App does not request your live location and does not transmit location data externally.
The App uses Apple's CloudKit and StoreKit frameworks. These are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Filos is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
