Enigma

Terms of Use & Disclaimer

Last updated 19 September 2026.

In short: Enigma is a party game, provided as is. We collect no data about you, and we accept no liability for anything arising from its use. You play entirely at your own risk and responsibility.

These terms apply to Enigma: Party Trivia (“the app”) and this website. By downloading, installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app. The app is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and these terms add to it.

No data, no data liability

The app doesn't collect, receive, store, process, share or sell any personal data. We run no servers and have no access to anything you do in the app. Because no data about you ever reaches us, we hold none and have no responsibility for any data on your device, on other players' devices, or passing through Apple's services. See the Privacy Policy.

Provided “as is”, with no warranties

The app and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”, with all faults and without warranties of any kind, express, implied or statutory. That includes any warranty of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, availability, compatibility or non-infringement. We don't promise that the app will work on your device or network, be free of errors or bugs, or be updated or kept available.

Content is for entertainment only

All questions, answers, facts, images, audio and scores in the app are for entertainment only. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or open to dispute, and we make no claim that they are correct. Nothing in the app is advice of any kind, whether educational, medical, legal, financial, safety or otherwise, and you must not rely on it. The questions are original or used under licence. Any reference to a real person, place, organisation or brand is made only as a matter of trivia and implies no endorsement or statement about them.

You play at your own risk

You alone are responsible for how, where and with whom you use the app, and for everything you and other players do while playing. That includes:

No liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of Enigma, together with its owners, affiliates, licensors and contributors, is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, claim or expense of any kind, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive. That includes loss of data, devices, profits, revenue, goodwill or enjoyment, and it applies however it arises: in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, from your use of the app or this website or your inability to use them, even if we were told it was possible. Where any liability can't be excluded, it's limited to the amount you paid for the app, if anything.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer of Enigma, together with its owners, affiliates, licensors and contributors, against any claim, loss, liability, damage or expense (including legal fees) arising from your use of the app, your conduct or the conduct of anyone playing with you, or your breach of these terms.

Third-party services

Online play runs on Apple's FaceTime and SharePlay, and local play uses your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. These are provided by Apple and others under their own terms. We don't control them and aren't responsible for them.

Legal requirements

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, it applies to the maximum extent allowed and the rest remains in full effect. These terms don't remove consumer rights that the law in your country makes impossible to waive. That's a legal requirement, and it's what keeps the rest of these terms enforceable.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms at any time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the app means you accept it. Questions: nkontis036@gmail.com.
